1. Student Seminars

Title: Student Seminars – Encouraging Active Learning

Objective:
To enhance students' understanding of literary concepts, improve public speaking skills, and promote self-study and research.

Practice Description:
The Department of Telugu regularly conducts student seminars to provide a platform for students to present topics related to literature and beyond. Students choose topics of interest, often from curriculum-related or contemporary literary themes, and prepare presentations. This practice not only encourages independent learning but also builds confidence, clarity of expression, and research abilities. Seminars are held regularly and evaluated by faculty members.

2. Literary Club – ‘Sahitee Vedika’

Title: Sahitee Vedika – A Platform for Creative Expression

Objective:
To nurture literary interest among students, encourage creativity, and preserve the love for the Telugu language and literature.

Practice Description:
The department has initiated a literary club named ‘Sahitee Vedika’, where students actively participate in a variety of literary activities such as story writing, poetry recitation, book reviews, drama performances, and essay competitions. The club provides a space for students to express their creative ideas and develop literary talents. Contributions are encouraged for college magazines and external literary platforms, helping students gain recognition.
